fetch
public pages negotiate representation. send Accept: text/markdown for text/markdown; charset=utf-8 with Vary: Accept. send Accept: text/html for the regular page. unknown paths stay http 404. markdown clients get a recovery body linking back to /llms.txt and /sitemap.xml.
mcp
public mcp is streamable http at /mcp, advertised from /.well-known/mcp.json (no auth). tools list public pages and return markdown. admin mcp stays at /api/mcp (clerk-gated: 401 without a session, 403 for non-admins). oauth protected-resource metadata: /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/api/mcp.
api
read-only public catalog: GET /api/v1/site and GET /api/v1/pages. contract at /openapi.json. errors use application/problem+json with code, detail, and suggestion. no auth on these routes.
limits
no graphql or commerce checkout. the only public http api is the small read-only catalog above, not a general-purpose product api. admin tools stay behind clerk.
